Palace Skateboarding and Adidas Originals running tings in London
Adidas Originals and Palace Skateboards launched a new footwear collection for their collaborative autumn/winter range. They marked the occasion with a taxi ad campaign, with LTA supplying and fitting the cabs.
The ‘Running Tings’ full livery adverts toured the capital, targeting London’s 220,000 skateboarders. Launched in November, it was ideally timed to target shoppers with the shoes on sale during the Christmas shopping period.
The cabs were decked out in black and turquoise designs. The shoes were available online and at Palace’s flagship shop on London Brewer Street, with the cabs circulating close to this store.
The result this campaign were phenomenal – due to extraordinary demand the shoes sold out on the Palace online store in a matter of weeks.
