It seems our Chengdu Tourism taxi advertising campaign has attracted a lot of media attention and caused a bit of a stir.
Two articles have featured in the Sunday Express:
‘Kate Middleton mocked as royal gold-digger by Chinese officials.’
and the Daily Mail:
‘I didn’t marry into royalty to schlep around in a taxi’: Kate is branded a gold-digger in bizarre promotional video for Chinese city.’
Despite the coverage, the promotional video does not claim Kate Middleton to be a ‘gold digger’ which is implied by both writers of the articles.
